Free competitor report

Enter your website and up to three competitors. We crawl all of them, derive the search terms a customer would type from their own titles and headings, check live Google results for every term, and send you a PDF showing who ranks for what, where the gaps are, and whether anything technical explains them. Free, one per day.

What the report contains

Side by sideHomepage screenshots of all four sites, approximate pages in Google, sitemap size, technical score, words per page, meta description and structured data coverage.
Who ranks for whatTen search terms derived from the sites' own copy, checked live in Google, with every site's page-one position or absence.
Content gapsTerms where a competitor is on page one and you are not, ranked by their position: the closest thing to a content plan a free tool can give you.
Page one, as it stoodThe live top ten for your biggest gap terms, competitors highlighted, so you can see exactly who you are up against.
Your real competitorsUnnamed domains that kept appearing on page one, and the sites a semantic web index considers most similar to yours.
Positioning and technicalHomepage titles and headings compared, then whether any critical technical finding explains a gap.

What it isn't

It has no backlink or authority data, no traffic figures, and it does not claim to know why one page outranks another beyond coverage, copy and technical health. Positions are sampled once, from one location, and move daily. Every number in the report was measured at the moment you requested it, never estimated.

Why we give it away

The checks cost pennies, and the gap list tends to end in the same two places as our other tools: you need pages you do not have yet, or pages you do have are not in Google. The keyword ideas tool expands every gap term for free, the index checker tells you which pages Google has, and our paid service gets the missing ones indexed. If you want the technical side on its own, the free audit goes deeper.
